Take control of your day, your life, and every moment that you’re lucky enough to have. Think of happiness in whatever form it may be. Take the first thing that comes to your mind and try to incorporate that into your day. Adding that to your day doesn’t make you selfish. It makes you wise and strong. It makes you be true to yourself on a deeper level. It makes you enjoy more throughout the day; there is more to enjoy because you are satisfied. Go ahead and play when you need to, smile whenever you feel happiness around and within you. Let your happiness guide you, even through the rough trenches of the day (those long-drawn-out meetings, those daunting documents in which you have left to be written, those dulling hours sitting in your car during the daily commute…). When you have thought about what will make you whole and satisfied, then you can work towards it. You can live in it.

Only then can you focus on work and life with positive intention. Love you.

Love today. You are so very worth it.
